Drinkin with Max down at the bar
he told me "Don't worry"
he said "You're still young, you got time on your side"
well I said "I'm self destructive, I'll probably die early"
he said "Girl, slow it down, ease your mind"
oh well it feels too good to let it go
oh well it feels so good but I don't know
should I go back to Florida?
my salty paradise
'cause here sure feels like hell
but I'll pretend I'm alright
I'm barely surviving
by getting the city high
from the top of central park
down to the low sides
where a man put a knife at my chest
he stole I had
and I thought it was bad
when I got hit by that taxi cab
oh well it feels too good to let it go
all this pain it feels so good but I should go
make my way out to Denver
it's so peaceful out west
oh yea the east is trying to kill me
oh I'm fucking depressed
I've been lost and confused
now for a while
I try to lace up boots and walk straight
but I'm just a child
they say "you got talent, don't let it go to waste"
well it's funny 'cause I've been wasted bout every damn day
because it feels too good to let it go
the only thing that feels good I cant say no
wanna go to the desert
and drink ayahuasca
oh then maybe this veil will be lifted
I can fix myself up
off to Sierra mountains
literally calling my name
and to all of those people who know me
and think I'm fucking insane
just know it feels so good to let you go
oh yea it feels so good to let it go

It couldn't be done, they said. Shoegaze and grunge are too different, rival movements that, while both "rock," couldn't be more different aesthetically. Neaux politely asks if you can hold their beer. Outstanding vocals and guitar here, only leaving the question of what to call their music. Grungegaze? Nyarlathotep

I signed up to the website just to buy the EP and think it's awesome. I miss VERSA and VersaEmerge, absolutely underrated and something is missing in the music sphere. rakastellar

wow! I'm so excited when I come across bands that totally blow me away and give me another hightened sense of appreciation for the love of music. Neaux is a band that I get emersed in and have to tell everyone how awesome they are and open their ears to sounds they would usually never hear. I wish I were lucky enough to see them live, of well. 😿 maybe we'll be lucky enough to get to hear a 3rd album from one of my new favorite bands. crsms
